Nicholas Cage is getting to enjoy both ends of the parenting spectrum! His youngest son — Kal-El — turns 9 later this year, but his oldest son — Weston Cage — just made Cage the elder a grandpa! Weston and his wife Danielle have welcomed their first baby, a son. Lucian Augustus Coppola Cage arrived on July 1st. Cage (the dad) has more than first-time parenthood on his plate: he’s working on a solo album, which is due out next year. Cage (the grandpa) will be hitting the big screen again in October with his latest flick, Left Behind.
Bachelorette alumna Ashley Hebert has a big date looming — her due date! The reality TV personality and her husband J.P. Rosenbaum are expecting their first (a son) and are bringing us along for the ride! Hebert has been posting pregnancy selfies to her Twitter account. She titled her most recent one, at 25 weeks, the “Baby Vogue Pose.” What will the coming weeks bring (besides a baby boy, that is!)?
Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans may be having her second act: the reality TV personality recently shared a picture via Twitter of one cute baby ankle, wrapped in hospital tag, so the guess is yes! Evans had earlier confirmed that she and boyfriend Nathan Griffith were expecting a son, whom they planned to name Kaiser. Evans is already mom to son Jace.
A Thousand Miles singer Vanessa Carlton is about to embark on a whole new marathon of sorts — motherhood! The singer recently announced via her Facebook page that she and husband John McCauley are expecting: “… We’re expecting a baby. It’s healthy and moving around like a champ … John, Victor and I are over the moon.” (Victor is the couple’s four-legged baby!) That same happy announcement shared that Carlton’s other project — her latest album, Liberman, is being released next summer.
It’s a girl for soap stars Linsey Godfrey and Robert Adamson! According to Soap Opera Digest, the couple — who star as Caroline Spencer Forrester on The Bold and the Beautiful and Noah Newman on The Young and The Restless, respectively — welcomed Aleda Seren Adamson on June 12th. Godfrey announced the happy news via Twitter, and also shared a bit of baby-naming fun that was had on set, “We didn’t share her name until she was born so at work Aleda was referred to as Ingeborg Trudy Matula Adamson.”
