After growing up in an all-boy family, Jerry O’Connell confesses in a recent PEOPLE interview that he initially thought putting daughters Charlie Tamara Tulip and Dolly Rebecca Rose in cute dresses was impractical. “They’re going to poop and throw up in it anyway.”
Now, however, O’Connell has come to the dark side. In addition to dressing them up, the actor also styles their hair (pig-tails and barretts) and lives to make his babies laugh. “There’s no better feeling than making your little girls laugh,” he said.
O’Connell’s been staying home with the eight-month-old fraternal twins while wife Rebecca Romijn is working on her ABC show Eastwick. The couple has committed to having one parent with the girls at all times.
