For most new moms, getting back in pre-baby shape can take months, even years. But Olympian Isabelle Delobel had a deadline: 4.5 months. Delobel and her husband, Ludovic Roux, welcomed their son Loic on October 1, 2009. Delobel, who had continued skating throughout her pregnancy, resumed rigorous training and practice on October 26th. The Vancouver Olympics are the third for Delobel and her partner Olivier Schoenfelder; the couple finished 16th in Salt Lake and 4th in Torino. After last night’s Compulsory Dance, the couple are in 6th place.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt

Despite the speculation that swirled following her recent trip to Haiti, Angelina Jolie has said that adopting from Haiti isn’t in her immediate plans. When asked point-blank if that was the purpose for her visit, Jolie said that while she and partner Brad Pitt are always open to children (the couple are parents to five), adoption was not the purpose of her visit. Maybe Jolie’s decided that five — Maddox (9, adopted from Cambodia), Pax (6, adopted from Vietnam), Zahara (5, adopted from Ethiopia), Shiloh (3), and Knox and Vivienne (18 months) — children younger than ten are enough of a handful!
