Despite a recent scare that has landed TLC star Michelle Duggar in the hospital, the soon-to-be mom (again!) is doing well. According to PEOPLE, Duggar — who is expecting her 19th child with husband Jim Bob — was experiencing pain that was causing some contractions. Although the pain was later discovered to be gallbladder related, doctors are keeping Duggar in the hospital for a few days for observation.
The 19th addition to the Duggar family is expected March 18th, and if you’re interested, you can suggest a baby name via Duggar’s blog. To maintain the family theme — Josh, Jana, John-David, Jill, Jessa, Jinger, Joseph, Josiah, Joy-Anna, Jedidiah, Jeremiah, Jason, James, Justin, Jackson, Johannah, Jennifer and Jordyn-Grace — the Duggars are asking for J names.
Maya Rudolph and her partner, director Paul Thomas Anderson, like surprises, and what wonderful surprises they receive! The pair have chosen not to learn the sex of their babies until they make their delivery room appearance, and early last month (November 6th, to be exact), they welcomed Lucille. Lucille is the second daughter for the couple, who are also parents to 4-year-old Pearl.
Rudolph, a Saturday Night Live alum, appeared in this summer’s Away We Go and is scheduled to appear in next year’s MacGruber.
The star of such recent hits as Enchanted, Julia & Julia, and Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian, Amy Adams has some enchanting news of her own! PEOPLE recently confirmed that she and fiancé Darren Le Gallo are expecting their first child together. Adams and Le Gallo, who got engaged in July 2008, have been dating since 2001. Adams is starring in next year’s Leap Year, which is scheduled to open January 8th.
She plays nurse Carla Espinosa on the ABC show Scrubs, but Judy Reyes is practicing some new lines — lullabies! She and her boyfriend, director George Valencia, welcomed their baby girl, Leila Rey Valencia, on November 27th. Little Leila weighed in at 6 pounds, 7 ounces and was 19 inches long. Leila is the first baby for Reyes and Valencia.

Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen
The New England Patriots’ quarterback knows the sex of his soon-to-be baby, but his wife Gisele Bundchen doesn’t! “I wanted to find out, and she didn’t,” Brady is quoted as saying in a recent PEOPLE article, “so she said “Go ahead.” Bundchen revealed the pregnancy in July during a photoshoot with London Fog. The second Brady baby — the first being two-year-old Jack (John Edward Thomas), from a previous relationship with Bridgit Moynahan — is due this month but will remain wrapped in mystery until its arrival. Brady hasn’t shared his secret with anyone: not his wife, not his son and not even his dad!
The singer, famous for her 1994 single “Stay (I Missed You),” and her husband Roey Hershkovitz (who’s the music production supervisor for The Tonight Show With Conan O’Brien) welcomed their daughter on November 29th. Lyla Rose Loeb Hershkovitz is the first child for the musical couple.

For being actresses, Accidentally on Purpose costars Ashley Jensen and Jenna Elfman are bringing a lot of reality to their roles! While Elfman isn’t expecting her sequel until March, Jensen welcomed Francis “Frankie” Jonathan, her first child with husband Terence Beesley, five weeks ago. Like many first-time moms, Jensen has found that adjusting to motherhood — the sleeping and feeding — has got her stumbling from day-to-day, she recently confessed to PEOPLE. Being able to bring Frankie to the set, though, has made life easier.
Paula Patton and Robin Thicke
May is the month for graduations, and Paula Patton and Robin Thicke are looking forward to graduating into parenthood in May 2010! Although they don’t yet know whether they’re having a boy or a girl, the soon-to-be daddy is already talking names. He recently told PEOPLE that the couple are leaning toward Julian for a boy and Isabella for a girl.
Don’t expect Tiffani Thiessen to use an out-there name like Bronx, Apple or Banjo for her little one.
“We’re very traditional,” said the mommy-to-be, who’s already working on baby name lists with hubby Brady Smith. She said the couple isn’t planning on using any “freaky names.”
They’re not sharing their short list, so looks like we’ll have to wait until May to find out their pick.
