No stranger to the runway, Heidi Klum rocked the red carpet at the Emmy Awards yesterday in a body-hugging black gown by Marchesa. Before hitting the awards ceremony, the Project Runway host stopped and chatted about her gown.
“It wasn’t really hard for me, but it was hard for the woman that designed a dress for me,” she laughed. “She started about two or three months ago and that’s kind of difficult…It’s black because I figure, at eight-and-a-half months, black is better! I think it’s elegant and slimming.”
Klum is due to give birth to her fourth child, a daughter, in mid-October.
American Idol alum LaKisha Jones is a mother again! The singer recently announced the birth of her second child, daughter Ava LaRynn, on her Twitter account. According to the proud mother, “she was late but so worth the wait.”

The Grey’s Anatomy star and her husband, musician John Kelley, are adopting a baby girl from Korea. Heigl made the announcement on an episode of The Ellen Degeneres Show, which is scheduled to air this Friday.
Heigl’s soon-to-be daughter is from Korea, and the couple plans to name her Naleigh, in honor of Heigl’s mother and sister (Naleigh is a combination of the two names Nancy and Leigh). Naleigh, who will be a year old on Nov. 23, is a special-needs baby; according to Heigl, that’s why the adoption process is moving quickly.
“They wanted to get her to us as quickly as possible,” Heigl is quoted as saying in a TV GUIDE article.
