Actress Ashley Jones celebrated the impending arrival of her baby boy on Saturday.  Jones took to her blog to share her appreciation for the day and wrote, “If I ever worried starting a family later in life would be lonely, last weekend took those thoughts away completely.”

The safari and high-tea themed shower was hosted by The Big Bang Theory actress Kaley Cuoco.  Celebrity guests included Jones’ fellow moms-to-be Ali Fedotowsky and Lacey Chabert, and new mom Amy Davidson.

Jones and her husband, Joel Henricks, married in a quiet ceremony in December of 2015 and announced their pregnancy in March.  The General Hospital actress told People at the time, “Becoming a mother has been a lifelong dream of mine. It seems surreal that it’s now happening…Although life as we know it will forever change, Joel and I can’t wait to meet this baby.”

Ashley is a loving step-mom to Henricks’ son Huck (3 1/2) from a previous relationship.  “Huck asks every few days, ‘Is the baby still in your tummy?’  He latched on to the notion of being a big brother immediately. Now, he’s just ready to put all this talk into action.”  Huck will have to wait a few more months for his baby brother to arrive; the actress is due in May.
