Feb 20, 2010 05:45 PM For most new moms, getting back in pre-baby shape can take months, even years. But Olympian Isabelle Delobel had a deadline: 4.5 months. That’s how long the French ice dancer had between the birth of her first child and the beginning of this year’s winter Olympics. Delobel and her husband, Ludovic Roux, welcomed their son Loic on October 1, 2009. Delobel, who had continued skating throughout her pregnancy, resumed rigorous training and practice on October 26th. The Vancouver Olympics are the third for Delobel and her partner Olivier Schoenfelder; the couple finished 16th in Salt Lake and 4th in Torino. After last night’s Compulsory Dance, the couple are in 6th place.
